Considering how much they worship games by a certain Americain company, thats just so believeable Koki.
He only considers North Korea to be true Korea I guess. Well, that and the ignorant youth of South Korea who think gee why wouldn't Kim Jong Illness make a great leader for all?
And Black Hawk down Ix.

Well I`d not have a single bad thing to say about the south. Every last person I`ve met from there has been some of the nicest people in the world that I`ve met, + their country is one of the most videogame obsessed places that I know of. So whats not to like :).

Hi guys, I'm still breathing. :p
Things took a very unfortunate turn for me and my family 3 days ago. I think we're through the worst of it (or so I really really hope). Sorry for worrying you. I still think I should be cautious about what I post for now.

I guess what you can end up deciding upon is that ideologically we SHOULD intervene at some point, but that realistically we shouldn't, since it's been quite some time since we've intervened with actual proper intentions.
Intentions will always be a matter of debate, no matter how sincere they may actually be.
And the last thing the Iranian opposition wants is our intervention. Even our vocal support probably undermines their cause.
Besides, as far as we know, the majority of Iranians still support the Islamic state, and the people aren't calling for help to overthrow it. Also, Iran may not be the freest nation, but it's not 1989 China - there is some tolerance for protest and dissent there. Finally, we know from 1979 that Iran is capable of changing its form of government without civil war, if the Iranian people want to. They don't need a foreign army to "save" them. The best we can do at this point is to facilitate communication, keep quiet, and not let ourselves become scapegoats for Khamenei and Ahmadinejad to point their fingers at.
Immortal - glad to see you back online. And Haplo - hope you're fine as well. If I'm way off base, please correct me once this is over.

South Korea. So far.
Koreans might disagree with you on that. The division of Korea is a result of outside intervention in the country. Plus, after WWII, the US put Japanese collaborators in charge of South Korea, and fully supported the military dictatorship that resulted. (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwangju_Democratization_Movement) They wouldn't have pussyfooted around with this sort of thing either.
