Okay, so they announce that Alex Denton is going to be the protagonist of the story in IW, and everyone is like "Oh yeah! that guy from A51 in the tank next to where you were born!" Well I recently was playing through DX1 again and in that room, if you'll notice, there are two more tanks on the other side. And their datacubes tell you their names, and their genetic parents.
Now, who could these people be? Lets see, Wade Walker, based on Walton Simons' genetic sample and Nick Pausback based on Bob Page's genetic sample. Anyone else think that these might be the next generation of antagonists in the world of Deus Ex? After all, there are few places in DX without significance, so I would think that these two mysterious individuals would have at least a little pertinance to IW.
On a side note, where did Walton get his augmentations? There's no tank in A51 for him. And what about Paul Denton? Though it must be pretty damn cool to have XXXXXXXXXX7V as a genetic sample.

Simons is a normal "old-fashioned" human, only nanotechnologically augmented, he's not genetically engineered/cloned born out of a tank.
Ahem, I think that the duo JC/Everett may be the next badguys in DX:IW (if you like the Illuminati ending). :ebil:

They say it will combine all endings so I don't have my money on JC/Helios being on the same side as the Illuminati even though Area 51 blowing up probably made him need help.
Also Alex isn't in his tank, check it out. He's just not there, leading some to say he is a hologram, perhaps created by Page so that the people watching on JC's infolink won't know that Alex is out in the world. The reason it would be the people on JC's infolink and not JC himself is that Page planed to kill JC so he doesn't care what JC knows.
The word INCEPT causes debate, but I think it means incept (I know that's one hell of a stretch) which would be the date the clone in question was to be incepted into MJ12 as opposed to the date of creation (inception.) Although the word could also be inception and simply mean the inception of said person into MJ12, either way that would explain why JC's was in the future, he hadn't been brought into MJ12 and they didn't plan to for another two years.
Nick and Wade would appear to be grown via the new “accelerated growth and memory implantation” techniques suggested for future use by Dr. Olivaw. JC and Paul would appear to be the siblings in this idea: We would suggest utilizing the data acquired by the Illuminati during the smallpox vaccinations of the 1940s to genetically screen for those couples most likely to produce desirable offspring who could then be cloned and raised by the "parents" under carefully supervised conditions. These cloned siblings would provide the necessary redundancy for further experimental trials.
Also proposed by Olivaw. Paul would be the natural one, JC is the clone. JC is likely a modified clone hence it doesn't say Paul Denton as the base genetic sample. The same holds true for Alex, him being a modified clone of JC.
Note that the info on Alex's data cube is all wrong, Alex was born in 2047 if he is to be 5 when the game takes place. Probably misinformation so people don't go looking for the 5 year old Alex.
As for the next bad guys, don't count out the Freemasons, Smuggler mentions them if you rescue Ford Schick before meeting him (you have to cheat to do it though) and there's that guy who says “Who will help the widow's son?”
