Except they were kept out the way, not hogging all the bloody screen.
That never bothered me.

Oh, sorry I forgot where I was posting for a moment. Of course, things that happen in both games equally are worse in IW because it's a streamlined console game that was an insult to fans etc.

Do we start another flame war? :p

I brought gas. Oh, and here's an idea: DX owns, IW sucks, and Bioshock was even shittier. Woohoo, this is now EPIC THREADS.

How exactly do you ghost around them?
By going outisde the map/wall structures and traveling around the sides, the activation points aren't that big. For example in that bar The Pit or the Temple or Trier, activate your ghost turn into the wall from the spawn point gliding to the walkway on the other side of the deactivation rooms.

That was sarcasm directed toward the game.
Then you have my apologizes for taking it as a personal attack against me, as if it was calling me a kid, since you weren't specific.

I feel sarcasm is an appropriate response.
I agree now that your clear it was directed at the game. :)
Hehe, well it looks like everyone agrees the Most of the forced infolinks are better of gone, now if we can just find them.
Or possibly does anyone know of there is a map editor, where we could remove the spots to prevent having to ghost?
Thanks. :)

Yes, but let's skip to the part where everyone starts going
"OH GOD DAVEW STARTED AN ARGUMENT AGAIN, AMIRITE GUYS". It'll save a few pages.
I'll try and give that a go, by the way. But there's no map editor for IW, they only ever released one for T: DS. And due to how the engine stores the content, it's not possible to use it as an editor for IW.

The infolinks in IW cover your field of vision, AND they block access to the main menu. So yes, they're worse than how DX did it.
(and don't even get me started on how everyone and their grandmother knows exactly what you're doing at all times)

Too, bad. :( I am not very experienced but have had some casual experience like helping Wesp with Bloodlines. Turfster from the Vampire community made a mapping tool for Bloodlines called VPKTool which allowed editing. It allowed me (after getting instructions) to remove that pesky Wooden Bar in the Temple, which was always a problem for many people. I guess I had hoped a fan in this community had made a Tool which could edit those nasty Activators.

Grrrrr, why did you have to bring up that painful memory. :p Hehe, yes that makes it worst you can't skip that damn dialog. I really think the game would be much more tolerable if the Main Quest activators were the only automatic dialogs.

That was always my intention! I didn't say "start a discussion", I said "start a flame war". :cheeky:
