Since all the great work on IW's graphics, the most annoying problem currently for me is the Forced Infolinks.
I have noticed that some come from crossing certain Map points, knocking out/killing certain NPCs or completing certain objectives, so I was wondering what the most effective way to accomplish this would be. Would removing as many as possible Map Points, finding where in the System files Infolinks are given some sort of nonskipable priority or possibly finding where they are transmitted from to erase them?
Thanks for any tips. :)

I haven't tried, but that sounds impossible without completely screwing up the game.

Well, I can skip most of them by Ghosting around the Map Activation Points.
A couple of examples would be when you zone into The Pit (Seattle) or Mosque (Cairo) if you Ghost off to the sides you can Skip the Weapon Deactivations.
Secondly you can skip Quest initiation in the same way, on entry into the Emerald Suites (Seattle) or Herion Apt (Lower Seattle) you get Quest Initiations from WTO and Order, respectively, but skip them by Ghosting around the Map Point.
Now I am not talking about removing them all, for example you would need to leave some that Initiations for the MQ, just messing around now in Seattle, for example it seems you would need to do either one or both Mako activation quest for the WTO or Order to be able to leave Seattle.
Way I look at it getting rid of 50% of the forced and unwanted Infolinks would be huge improvement on my mental health while playing this game. ;)

Don't fight and obey. You are a kid, and as every kids, you must let your mother hold your hand.

Having some cognitive problems, papy?

Why do you say that?

Your previous less than on topic, helpful or cognitive reply to a request for help, with IW, why do you ask?

How exactly do you ghost around them? The only time I've ever managed to skip a deactivation was in Trier. Although trying to redo it (blocking the door with a bin) hasn't worked.

That was sarcasm directed toward the game. Those infolink messages are there to make sure the player always knows what to do and what is happening. Basically, the game treat you like a kid, and always hold your hand. As I hate being treated like an 8 years old, I feel sarcasm is an appropriate response.

It's no more kid like than the original infolinks. Except they were kept out the way, not hogging all the bloody screen.
