Yeah, but the game is more fun when you can carry the GEP gun AND the flamethrower, ya know? But you're right, I'm a powergamer.

Fair enough :)
I have actually played carrying the GEP, Plasma rifle and Flamethrower. Not much room for anything else, obviously. Dowd certainly went without his medicine THAT time.

I never saw the point in the Plasma rifle, it doesn't do any decent amount of damage for the space it needs.
I'm currently carrying: 5 ballistic armors, 4 thermoptics, 3 rebreathers, 2 hazmats, 25 throwing knives, GEP, Flamethrower, max medkits and bioetheric cells, Sniper rifle, Dragon's Tooth, baton, auto-shotgun, 10mm pistol, stealth pistol, LAW, EMP nades, scramble nades, gas nades, LAMs, assault rifle, dart gun, prod, 20 zyme capsules (for shits and giggles during fights), pepper spray, lockpicks and multitools
Might be something else in there, not sure.
Exploiting the inventory bug to the fullest.

Geez, I'll get out of your way if I ever meet you in a dark alley. You are right about the plasma rifle- it isn"t much. You can get hammered by the time the "plasma" ever reaches the target. I never use the thing.

Yeah, the Plasma Rifle is pretty crappy. I tended to use it as a sort of novelty sniper rifle. 100% accuracy with a slow-moving ball of death is cool :)

You think inventory is bad in the PC version? PS2 one has:
A stack for low-tech weapons
4 extra slots for extra guns
A stack for explosives
A stack for items, etc.
This may sound quite nice, but it becomes a problem when you wish you could at least try to squeeze an extra item into you're inventory.
