I've nearly finished writing the walkthrough for this version, I'll post it next month.

Thank you very much for your effort fortuni!

@Master of Dromed
Thank you, in fact I had both keys but I simply didn't see the lock on the wall :rolleyes:
Edit: Mission finished, 5h20, 5585 loot and 11 secrets ... an amazing mission and a very large map with lot of different detailled areas that were fun to explore.
The layout may be a bit confusing sometimes but the maps are helpfull, good job Master of Dromed!

Thank you to the author @Master of Dromed for an engrossing update to this mission, and to fortuni for the walkthrough, which I'm looking at now to find some missing secrets.
One comment on the walkthrough linked in post #39, which I assume is for the original release of the mission - I think I have stumbled on a way to kill the earth elementals near the Mages' hideout. Somewhere I found a frog beast egg, and a frog beast deployed in the elemental's patrol path destroyed the elemental (and itself, of course).

i think i asked about that so thank you marbrien as when i saw the elemental i just avoided it,but good to know

So I've come to the Shamrock village and in the house with two dead keepers which is next to the house that contains skull of Tokra is a secret compartment in the floor. I opened it with two fire arrows after searching for the switch for some time. Is there a switch for that or? And also, in the keeper sanctuary there's a chest where I suppose Tokra's skull once was, is there something you're suppose to do with that chest? I tried doing something with the skull but you can't use it or drop it and that open chest just seems as if it's supposed to be used.

About your "Shamrock puzzle": The switch for the compartment is hidden very well below the table standing near the wall opposite the one touching the compartment. To see the switch, you can try to go away from the table and perhaps crouch. It's below the right side of the table, I think.
You can also select something from your inventory and walk towards the spot. The item in your inventory should "shrink" as soon as you can touch the switch below that table.
The open chest "for" the skull also irritated me, but just like you, I did not find any way to use the skull with the chest. It may have been created/placed for a better immersion.

Thanks! I just finished the mission and wow, what an improvement from the original version. I got 5615 out of 6917 loot, found only 10 out of 22 secrets, playtime 4 hours and 12 minutes. So there's still more things to discover. But yeah, what an improvement, a really good mission in my opinion.

I slept on this one and just spent my evening on it, with only half of the loot and only 4 secrets. :wot:
This gets two thumbs up from me. I just really like these kinds of stream of consciousness, surreal and mostly linear missions that are very interconnected and have the player traverse all kinds of different locales, much like bbb's missions and The Valley of the Burned from Gems of Provenance. This one truly does an excellent job at it and gives some of them a run for their money. The attention to detail is on point, the factory area is especially awesome. and very very evocative of The Dark Project.
I'm just a bit surprised there is no quick way back to the start from the Mages' area, though it's possible I may have missed it.
