Didn't see this posted yet, so here is a recent interview with Stephen Russell conducted by a Fallout fan site (starts with his Looking Glass experiences) - starts at 31:15 :

This was awesome, shame the interviewer is clueless when it comes to thief and all the work Stephen has done...

That´s sad. Most video game journalists don´t seem to have played the original Thiefs, expect the guys at rock, paper, shotgun. I am always a little bit buffled when people talk about Dishonored and describe it being similar to Assasin´s creed!

I don't even expect an interviewer to have played all of the guests games, but the least he could have done is put some effort in and did some good research on his subject before ummming and awwing his way through the interview. I find it so disrespectful toward the guest when interviewers can't be bothered. I would love to have heard some background on the test recording sessions for Thief 2014, how they arrived at the grittier voice he used, and if there had actually been more recorded...etc.

Funny enough, the next interviewer did it right.

Has Mr. Russel ever told where he got the inspiration for "Benny"?

I agree the second interview was better, and great to hear him do the Karras voice again.
