So I'm creating this thread for two reasons, number one being the important one.
So one to number one then, I found this link to a site on Deviantart. It shows some awesome 'live' counterparts to games such as S.t.a.l.k.e.r and I think I spied a Fallout 3 cosplay kinda thing there also.

So I installed the Chrome browser just to see how it is and it automatically translated the website, and it did this in a very very nice way, trying to finish sentences and it ended up looking like a english site almost.
Number 2 being if you guys have like any wierd game screenshots of something happening in S.t.a.l.k.e.r why not upload them here? I'll see if I can upload some soon...

Holy Cow! I'm looking through these pics and just wow! These guys organize what looks like airsoft battles! With like hundreds of people joining in, and it looks like they have some pretty cool unforms and clothes. And don't forget the live counterpart guns. I saw a Augpara with a nice scope on it. And a couple of G36's. I wish I could join a organised feat such as this. Looks like so much fun.

While on the subject of IRL STALKER, I bumped into (
http://haszczu.deviantart.com/gallery/) this dA guy earlier today, and he's got an excellent gallery of urban exploration shots that look like a Bloodsucker's holiday postcards. Looking through the uploader comments, it appears most of the images are of abandoned Polish industrial complexes, so we're not talking Chenobyl here, but they definitely look the part. Figured some of you might enjoy browsing them.
Axon, if you wanna keep this thread for that sort of real-life STALKERish images, might I suggest changing the title to something a bit more descriptive of that? Also, if you want to post up in-game screenshots, there's (

Wish I could do some urban exploration. There is one place I know about not far from my folk's house. It's this huge abandoned building, no streets or anything leading to it. Just kinda built into a hill, with a huge trench in front of the main entrance. Well there is only one entrance. And it's hard to get in, but some friends and I had the fortune of getting in and first an owl scared the shit out of everyone and then we saw that inside it's huge, and there were train tracks leading into the hill at a angle downwards. So if we had the equipment we would have gone in deeper but we didn't. I wish I had a camera back then.

Well, if you edit your opening post for this thread you can change the post title, which is the same as the thread title. Or you can double click anywhere just to the right of the thread title in the parent forum and you'll be able to change if from there as you would change a file name in Windows Explorer.

I wasn't sure what exactly to make the title. So I hope this explains in short what it is actually about. Let's hope some more people will check it out and share their thoughts, photo's and ideas.
