Actually, it looks like the jumping animation is the one used when climbing a mesh with the blsRope property.
Interesting. Can that be remapped somehow?

Hmmm, I ran across something while browsing through T3Main with a hex editor:
Quote:
RopeArrowManager::CreateVolumeForRope
. . .
RopeArrowManager: Tried to make a volume for a rope, but the rope did not have exactly one RopeArrowSpawn link on it.
Now that we solved the multiple spawning issue by spawning a dummy object before the rope was created, then maybe a volume will be created for a rope volume (I doubt it though).
Quote:
ropeToMount->IsValid()
. . .
pGarrett->ropeToMount
Quote:
4Garrett rope state, no rope to mount set.
There might be more in there, but I've got to study for my ethnomusicology final @ 8am tomorrow (it's hard to study when t3ed has been so entertaining this week :cheeky: )

Ha ha, tell me about it. :) Many sleepless nights when I was working full out on Minimalist. I remember when I woke up in the middle of the night with the solution to making the icons cycle in classic T1 and 2 style. My poor wife. LOL How she worried.

Damn it man!! You really impressed me this time... I can just say *WoW* and I don't mean "world of warcraft" with that word! :cheeky: You've done a really great job yet so far...

Would this let us get whole new AIs into the game? (burricks, spiders, robots maybe?)

Well, with the t3import plugin for milkshape, you can convert that to smd, then import that to 3ds max. With shadowspawn's tools you can convert t1/2 meshes then convert those 3ds.
