Hi,
After a long absence I've reinstalled Thief and can't wait to try all the new FM's. However, I do have some trouble getting the game going on my system. I've got a dual processor, so have altered the shortcut to C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 c:\thief2\thief2.exe. I have installed the patch, and have also installed the Indigo codecs.
however, I still can't see the movies, when I open the movies in Explorer I only get the sound. I also only get 16 colors in the game. The latter is bothering me more than the first, but still would be nice to get the movies going as well...
I have Vista Ultimate, and an ATI Radeon HD 3850.
I'd be grateful for any help you can provide

I had windows vista 64-bit now I have windows 7 sixty four bit.I use a Radeon had 3400 and the game works fine for me.Do you have the theif complete collection sold by masteronic if not get that ot works great.But before you resort to that have you tried the DDFIX its found on here use the GUI version like I did and you should have no trouble.I have heard people had trouble with it on a 64-bit operating system but I never had any problems.

I now have the game running with the correct colors, and the movies are running too. I'm getting the complete collection, but this install is the original CD.

No Problem,I was glad to be off assistence.Sorry for being so long in responding.I had a doctors appointment and get the swine flu vaccine.
