Installing System Shock 1 on Windows Vista

I bought the System Shock CD, but I have trouble installing it on Windows Vista. I have DosBox, used it, and managed to open the INITIAL.EXE program from the INST file. I tried using "Install System Shock" but no matter what directory name I choose and no matter what drive I choose (I tried EVERYTHING), I keep getting the error message "Cannot write to that directory. Please try a different directory name".

So what directory name should I use? I tried everything. Or maybe I have to change something? Or maybe I shouldn't use INITIAL.EXE? INSTALL.BAT didn't work, and neither did any other of the programs.
