Where have I done this?

He said Gaza was far from being poor.
It is.
It's not Israelis fault that the resources entering are stolen by the leaders, is it? Palestine receives masses of aid, some of the highest per capita in the world. You can Google this easily.
Why are you not weeping and protesting at its misappropriation?
Starker on 25/1/2025 at 23:44
I know about the aid. We (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152372&page=4&p=2506391&viewfull=1#post2506391) already discussed it in the other thread, as well as Gaza's economic conditions in general, but lets do it again, shall we. Let's say that Gaza gets a billion dollars annually from foreign aid. There are 2 million people in Gaza. That means 500$ per year per person on average, which comes to about 40$ monthly which comes to about a 1.3$ per day. You can't even buy a decent meal with 1.3 dollars per day, but this money needs to cover many more needs. And this is not to supplement Gaza's economy -- foreign aid basically
is Gaza's economy.
Why are you not weeping and protesting at Israeli organisations that hold the ultimate power over Palestinian organisations and actually decide where the aid goes? A large part of the corruption is facilitated by Israel itself.

But aid isn't the only source of income. Read about the economy there. There have been times when the growth has been greater than in the WB.
Starker on 26/1/2025 at 11:28
Gaza's economy is and has always been dependent on foreign markets. Without access to them, Gaza is pretty much dead economically. Any economic booms it has experienced in modern history have been enabled by foreign aid. And Israel has been carefully controlling Gaza's economic activity, for example only allowing them to export to a few select countries.
There is little to none independent local economic activity either, because households spend most of their income on food and even then still need food aid to survive. Additionally, with the recent bombings, Israel has all but destroyed Gaza's ability to produce food: (

It's time for Hamas to disband and for the Strip to be rebuilt.
Trump has some fresh ideas. I think we should indulge him.

It sure is interesting how when given actual data by Starker on a point of contention, you ignore it and immediately pivot to something else.
And 'we'? Like the UK need to follow that clown car any further into the circus after the last 4 years.

Trump's ideas are nothing but ethnic cleansing; clear all the Muslims out of Israeli occupied territories so the whole thing can be a pure Jewish state. The irony of Jews supporting the rise of fascism and ethnic cleansing is profound.
Starker on 26/1/2025 at 20:56
I think it's really generous to call the brain farts he spurts out as fresh. Or ideas, for that matter.

When your alternate plan is to ethnically cleanse all the Jews from the West Bank, after having already ethnically cleansed them from Gaza, you kind of lose the right to the moral high ground there. Especially when 2 million Muslims live happily within Israel.
