Israel just attacked Iran.
They're going to attack just about anyone who gets in the way.

I feel like it's more like Netanyahu is going to do anything to keep conflict going because, like Trump, he's desperate to avoid not being in office and subject to arrest, and he's surrounded by hardliners that are all too happy to keep it going as well. It'd be real nice if the US didn't get sucked into a war with Iran, especially not 2 weeks ahead of an election.

I doubt that, Iraq was way smaller than Iran, and the US and allies could barely hold it under some degree of control, Iran is different because they do create many weapons.
They probably don't want the hassle.

Yes dema, it's all Bibi. Nothing to do with Iran attacking Israe a couple of weeks ago and supporting terror all over.
Jesus Christ.

Seems like the Israeli strike was sized to deliver about the same modest damage as Iran's strike did to Israel a few weeks ago. A tit for tat response that was surprisingly restrained and gives Iran an opportunity to settle down. A smart play.

Get with the programme Subjective Effect.
Iran and its proxies bombarding Israel daily for 13 months is just fine and dandy, but when Israel finally decides to defend itself, it's an unacceptable escalation and warmongering.

26 million at risk of starvation in Sudan.
A silence so deafening it's heard in Hades.
No Jews.
No news.
The children who die of starvation didn't suffer really if you can't blame the IDF.

Aw, look at you two. :)
You talk like someone in here actually defends the hostile actions by Iran or Hamas or whoever. And if someone dares criticise Israel's politics, you're often quick to play the antisemitism card, as if it had anything to do with antisemitism.

Without doubt one of the biggest reasons why people like to single out Israel, even though I could name 50 worse countries off the top of my head, is that it justifies all the bad things they want to believe about Jews. So we get the "Israel is killing children" shouts, which are just a modern twist on the old (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_libel) blood libel. America's perceived inaction on the conflict is because their politicians are in the pockets of Israel, which is just the latest incarnation of the (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Jewish_conspiracy) global Jewish conspiracy. There's not a single antisemitic trope that has not been utilised at some point or other in attacks upon Israel.

Well Tomi, if you can explain the protests against Israel and the claims of genocide when nearly 1 million Muslims have been killed in Syria, Yemen, Sudan with hardly a peep out of the same protesters I'd love to hear it.
