Folks in Indonesia are still waiting for the official statement from either the government or the police, about the recently ended siege in Temanggung, central Java - Indonesia.
It is believed that the a**hole that got pinned down and killed by the police during siege was suppose to be the Indonesia's Most Wanted person: "Nurdin Mohamad Top", a Malaysian citizen that has been terrorizing Indonesia since 2002. a student of late Bomb master-mind Azhari, Nurdin was believed to have the ability of "brain-washing" many people to follow him and eventually to do his dirty deeds. Nurdin is believed to be responsible on many bombing in Indonesia, from Bali bombing, Australia embassy in Jakarta, and the last July, JW Marriott & Ritz Carlton Hotel. (close call for me :p)
Last night, the cop's special force "Densus 88" (Special Detachment 88) also raid a house in Jakarta. Terrorist suspect tried to fight back, by lobbing some grenades. Cops
got'em first. Ending the raid, and finally made a thorough search in the house. Cops found a large amount of Bomb material, like sulfur, black powder, screws, electronic devices, etc, and a car rigged with large quantity bomb (100 kg). The Cops said that the bomb was to addressed to the Indonesia president's house not far from the raid location.
The cops did a good job, but on the other hand faces a new challenge. Should this dead man in Temanggung really is Nurdin, they're gonna have to search the remaining hiding terrorist. If only they could catch them alive :p
