So, if anyone wanted to read the script, how would they go about finding it?
One would PM Scots with one's email, obviously. After which he sells it to viagra marketers. Pay attention.
Still not completely keen on the alien thingamabood, but them being evil shits works so much better, as does all of the screenplay. What with its characters whose motivations make sense, awesome action scenes that have a sense of danger, and the Indy and Marion bits being tons better and not being a cute background detail.

I agree. I liked the movie, but damn that script is the shit. :(

It's pretty depressing knowing that not only was a good script rejected, but look what they chose in its place...
Is there a reason we're sending the script by email instead of posting links to download it? I have such a link, but don't want to get in trouble if it's against the rules.

Well colour me glad for not having seen it yet then. I'll wait to borrow a DVD off someone or something. I'm not going to see it at the cinema on principle now.

Considering as everywhere that's been known to post it gets hammered with cease and desists, I reckon I wouldn't bother troubling Saam with it. :D

So, how much of the actual movies screenplay was written by Lucas? Or did he just turn down a good one for a shitty one?

One thing Scott, how genuine is this script? It sounds fairly professional, if a little casual but if you've ever read or seen interviews with Darabont that's how he is, but it has a rather odd typo: Prank Darabont instead of Frank Darabont.

Also, it's been confimed as being
the Darabont draft that Speilberg loved by a number of your usual movie sites.

I selected view as HTML and it changes the F into a P! Just downloaded the PDF and it is clearly an F.
