No, he isn't. It is really a shame, considering the guy has been in all the "good" raiders movies to date. This is just one of many reasons why this movie will suck.
PS. I don't really hate Temple of Doom, it has its moments, but is probably my least favorite of the three.

Last Crusade was a one-dimensional cartoon version of the character in
Raiders. Not that he was Mr Depth in the first Indy movie, but he still was more of a character. If things continued this way, he literally would have had to be a cardboard cutout in
Crystal Skull.

John Rhys Davies will be missed but we get Ray Winstone instead which I would say is a pretty good trade. In fact, with all due respect to Mr Davies, I would say that's even an upgrade.
