It's a kid's series, but IMO highly superior to most of the fantasy tripe that's coming out right now. Proper use of faeries, golems, gargoyles, and the like, and the characters and setting remind of classic fantasy like Lewis, L'Engle, and Lloyd Alexander.
I doubt it's the same audience - more like the trailer is aimed at the parents who'll be bringing their grade school kids. If you just want to see the trailer, I imagine you'll be pleasantly surprised by the movie.
If they haven't cocked it up.

First I was wishing that they didn't include the stuff from the other movies at the beginning.
Then I realised it was the best stuff in the trailer.

I did enjoy the repeat of the Indy silhouette. I always liked the shot of Indy walking into Marion's bar. She just sees the silhouette, and knows exactly who it is.
