I can't watch videos from Thief 1,2 because they use this shittime codec and there is no support for it in Vista. Tryed to install it, no changes... Used ffdshow, also no moves. What should I do?

Have both ffdshow and DDfix installed. Make sure that the resolutions in cam.cfg and ddfix.ini match. Set the MovieFix= variable in ddfix.ini to 1.
If that doesn't work, then try (
http://ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122477) these re-encoded movies for T2.

No, under vista nothing helps. Well, i can use re-encoded movies, but movies in fan missions which encoded with this crap (indeo 5) also won't work. And i can't re-encode them because my coverter can't read this movies. So, this is a real problem...

Fixed problem...
Don't worry about converting it (which won't work anyway) and don't worry about a seperate media player to play your Indeo 5 movies.
Simply do this:
Open a command prompt (Start -> Run -> type cmd -> [ENTER])
Then execute the command:
regsvr32 ir50_32.dll
That's it. Now WMP <http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Windows_Media_Player> can play back Indeo 5 under Vista. The Indeo installer obviously fails to register the dll on Windows Vista...
Happy Viewing!
Zomba thank you!
