Hi. i'm a LTLFTP (long time lurker, first time poser). Anyways, I got a new TV that has an S-video plug-in. My computer happends to have an S-video out jack. So i hook them together, and thought i would play some deus ex. I can run the game at 1024*768 on the TV, but if i go any lower than that i can see it refreshing, which is not fun to look at. But at 1024*768 the text is unreadable. So... if anybody knows a way in increase the text size for deus ex, or any other game for that matter. I would be very thankful.

Which video card do you have?
Have you tried the latest drivers, the drivers often have the options to setup the refresh rates, the visibility and other things that could help you out.

Good guess, but i want to keep it at 1024*768 because except for the text, it looks better in game like that. Anyways, I forgot to say that i'm running windows 2000 professional.

I plugged in my TV to the vdo card and found to have a similar problem.
The TV resolution is set to 1024*768 but when I play games (also on 1024*768) the games run fine, I can see the fonts just fine, the fonts were not clear so I tuned my TV colours and sharpness (with the TV remote) and found it to work. The text during the game appears almost as sharp as on the monitor now, I'll say about 80% of what is on the monitor.
Now when I am using windows with 1024*768 with small fonts, the problem is that I cant read a bloody thing.
The only solution to this problem would be to increase font size to Large Fonts.
Also this is for windows only and I don't know if this will help during the game, my games seem to run fine and the text is readable, unless its small text like in a tooltip.
My video card is GeForce FX 5600 Ultra and the latest nVidia drivers are installed, incase you wanted to know.
