Month ago I posted in GarrettLoader thread asking for a solution of the problem to playing FM in my desktop PC, that not functioned, instead in my laptop there was no problem.

Finally, I've found the solution: in my laptop I don't worked with T3 Editor, understood after a format on my desk pc, before reinstalling the T3 Editor, that the T3 FM worked correctly, and after the installation (and use), they stopped to work...

So I thinked that was the Editor, and I decided to save a System Restore point, just before using the editor, so, when I wanted to play some T3 FM, just restoring, and I could play it.

But this is so uncomfortable...

So I've gone by intuiton, theorizing a windows registries modify, and after a brief searching for a registry backup program, I've found a page that spoke about a saving (exporting) some registries or portion of these, and, with a B I G luck, I found the final solution the I post below:

These rows should be saved as thief.reg, having the care to substitute my name with that of your user, and ION_ROOT"="C:\\Programmi\\Thief - Deadly Shadows"
with the path of your game, and "SaveGamePath"="C:\\Documents and Settings\\Massimiliano Goi\\Documenti\\Thief - Deadly Shadows"
with that of your saves. :D

Just save it into thief.reg file, and when you want to play some T3 FM, just double clicking on it, and you'll be able to play it.

Nope, the problem were present for many time, I mean about an year and half on my desktop pc.

The problem is not Thief3Launcher: I tested starting the FM when I just starting this program, without start up the editor, and all were ok; the problem is only with the editor.

And there's also a reason: when the editor starts up, if you open the Task Manager, you can see, more than the editor, also a thief.exe process, so one executable of the game were started, and then I think that some setting there was changed.

However, using that registry keys backup solve everything.
