IIRC, the spellbook says that Incinerate (Aam Mega Yok) causes "a wave of fire in front of the caster" (the manual simply says "damage 5d4"). When I cast it, however, it gives me targeting cursor. If I target something, they start to smoke, then turn red, and then explode. Should it be doing this? At first, I thought it did nothing, as I tried it on the merchant on level 5, resulting in some pretty lights but no other effects -- then I decided I should test it on goblins, and it's pretty effective, but no "wave of fire".
Also, I can't get Mass Incinerate (Mega Aam Mega Yok) to work, but I might not have the necessary skill level or something.
I found the Fridd rune and the Icewalk and Pool of Frost spells (Aam Fridd Taar, Aam Fridd Spacium) but is there any ice equivalent to Incinerate? Aam Mega Fridd and Mega Aam Mega Fridd don't appear to be valid spells.
Isn't it a bit odd that you can decapitate a goblin with a short bow? I fired an arrow at one as he ran down the tunnel towards me, and it took his head right off.
On level 4, I found a locked door with a corpse in front of it holding a note regarding Oliver's treasure hunt. Is there a key, or will I need to juice up my Lockpicking? I seem to be finding a LOT of locked doors/chests/levers and no keys for them.
Finally, is the amulet you get from the Water Clan Goblins on level 5 (if you kill the Earth Clan) useful in any way?
[EDIT: If it helps, I played as far as the outpost on level 1 on v1.13 and patched to 1.15 just after talking to the guardpost captain but before going to the tavern.]
[EDIT: Oops, should have added spoiler tags. Sorry!]
