Don't, that's the long way :p
Facing Divayth Fyr, turn to your left. There are some shelves there. On the shelf is a small locked box. Pick it, and the amulet is inside. Divayth doesn't mind you doing it right infront of his face either! And get scourge, inside the locked box next to the same set of shelves (on the ground.)

I think this is off subject, but i just got the GOTY version for the x-box and I heard about a weapon or something on these forums about a monthand a half ago with a thing that gave you5x intelligence. I would like to either know which forum that was in or just where the weapon is.

Sorry bud, it's not a weapon. It's called the Mantle of Woe and it's in Bloodmoon. Go to the Skaal Village, and look around for a well. On top of a well is an entrance to Rimhull. Alternatively, there's an entrance just to southeast of where the two rivers meet on Solstheim. The well entrance might be easier to find.
Oh, and my new favorite weapon! I got it in Sword of Perithia, but I think it's a morrowind item too. It's the Sword of Augustus. It looks big and it's Nordic-like. ... I like big swords...

I sold that for a coupe of hundred gold I think, didn't think much of the sword.
Playing through that mod at the moment. Good but doesn have its own iritating quirks. A good proofreader would have improved it no end.

Thus far, I have found Chrysamere to be the best sword in plain old Vvardenfell. It can be found Southwest of Sadrith Mora in a little dungeon on a small island, with the entrance facing North. Even a low level character can have this sword with strategy and potions; mine was still level 1 and unmodded as he's on the Xbox.
I like Goldbrand a lot though, as you can carry a shield.
It's amazing how many powerful items you can get as a low level character, if only you know where to look.

Does anyone know where to get the Ice Blade of the Monarch on Bloodmoon is? I have not found anyone that knows where it is.\
