Hey all
Sitting here listening to the System Shock 2 soundtrack (released for download last week), and inparticular I`m right now listening to the Hydro 2 music, which is very Terminator 1-ish in style and sound. What I`m after is music of a similar sound that has that same feel. If you dont know what I`m talking about in regards to Terminator 1, there was alot of background music whenever it was showing what the Terminator was upto, which came with a strong bass beat and slow thriller-like sound to it. Hard to describe what I mean. The Hydro 2 music in SS2 is very similar in sound as well. Be great to have more music of similar sound.
Anyways if anyone knows of any similar music to recommend that`d be great.

Hit me with a sample and I'll let you know. Can't be bothered reaching that part of the game again. ;)

"The Movies" has a track remotely resembling to famous Terminator theme, it's called "Chrome Virus". Industrial ambient in essence. You can actually use this track in any movie you make in the game, even a loose Terminator remake if you desire for one.

Well as I said in my first post, its music like the kinds that were in the background in Terminator. Not the theme song, which was VERY different. I`ll do a search of the net to see if I can find a good example.

Ok found an example. Samples from the Terminator soundtrack:

Have a listen to track 2: Terminator Arrival. Track 3: Tunnel chase isn`t too bad either.

I think I know exactly what you mean! The monotonous "da-dam da-dam" which plays everytime Arnold appears on the scene, to underline his robotic, mechanic nature. I love it.
But I don't have anything like that. :)

Exactly :). I`ve not been able to come across much music of a similar sound either. Music that has an element of fear in it (as in it puts you on edge).

I second Coil, or maybe something like Paul Schutze (umlaut over the u) 'New Maps of Hell'...
