If you mean the Ted the Caver story, it doesn't seem to be on the internet anymore. Several links I've found go to (
http://www.holyshiite.com/caver/), but the page doesn't exist anymore. I tried the wayback machine, but only got an empty page.
It's a shame, because I liked the story, even if it was a tad bit long.

The one I was thinking of was largely described as similar to Lovecraft, in that it never described the horror, only the reactions.

The story about that house sent shivers down my spine. That place sounds really bizzare, Glad I've never stayed there and I was reading that blog at midnight so the atmosphere really got to me.
