IMPS The Relentless chapter 1

Don't know what folks on the boards thinks of Star Wars Fan Films, but (http://impstherelentless.com/tek9.asp?pg=chapter1) this one is a must see, if only for its excellent quality. I'll be damned if this isn't the best SW fanfilm I've ever seen, and trust me, what I haven't seen isn't worth seeing (at least that's what I like to think).

For fanfilm fans, who for some reason haven't already seen this, let me say, I think this one even outscores Duality and Versus.

edit: God dammit. Beaten to it by Nightfall himself. Couldn't the man have had the grace to write IMPS or Davenport Gateway at least.

Well, at least I can advertise that chapter two is in post-production and shouldnt be too long in the coming.

This is the problem with old hat searches. You type in something you want to start a topic about...say 'Anna Nicole's wang' - you find nothing (hypothetical of course...). So you start the topic. Three posts in, someone nails you with 'HEY NUB, DIDN'T YOU DO A SEARCH? IT WAS THE THREAD CALLED 'WHAT I HAD FOR LUNCH'...which actually turned into a conversation about Anna Nicole's wang about 5 pages in. So fuck it, either put the topic in the thread title or end up with 8 topics re: Anna Nicole's wang.

Without buying the divx codecs is it possible to watch darthmrn (im not asking for warez)?

I'm not sure I follow. I downloaded mine from the DivX (http://www.divx.com/divx/) website for free. Nothing illegal there. And the (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) VLC media player comes with DivX codecs.

I've been thinking of making some animation in 3D myself and the incredible detail of those scenes just makes me wanna throw in the towel before I've even started.

As for the film itself... awesome. Everything is top-notch. The animation, dialogue, props, plot. Some serious effort and talent have gone into this.
