I tried to make a *slightly* better texture for this object. No way, because the texture mapping of the light is awful. The upper half is supposed to be specular with the lower one, but it's not.

They are nothing special, 256x256. I made them just for myself. The lamp is unfinished.

Of course yours are way better, Necrobob. :) It's just that I'm reluctant to use large textures for small objects because of my poor computer and graphic card.
BTW, just to be nitpicking, the rotating part has a "stripe" (please, correct me if I'm wrong ZB) of light which looks strange. I thought that the object was made of glass because of it. :confused:

I really like this, but I think it would make more sense for the scratch marks on the paint to run horizontally across the texture, rather than aligned with the white and red stripes, since it is applied to a horizontally rotating bar.
