Considering the palette limit, I'm wondering how many palettes I should 'allocate' to the EP.
I plan to use Bright's functionality to reduce all the EP textures to a specified number of palettes, but I'm not sure how high I should go, to give the least chance of palette errors with the highest possible quality.
At the moment, I'm looking at 64 palettes (1/4 of the available texture space), which is quite an acceptable quality - but is it maybe too many?
As for the release date: I'm waiting for someone to volunteer to make the food* (
bread loaf, deer leg, rostisserie chick), and for Yandros' poker and mine/bomb models.
After that, I'll be testing it by playing through Thief 1, then I'll probably send it to a few testers before release.
EDIT: Bread loaf is done.
* If no one else volunteers, I might take a stab at the loaf, though I didn't have much luck finding suitable texture for it previously. Being a vegetarian, I'd rather leave the meats to someone else . . .
Melan: I darkened and dirtied up RustD1 and RustD3 a bit, though I think RustD2 is more than rusty enough already.

Texture is maybe a bit too reddish, but a huge improvement anyway :thumb:.

Bah, it looks fine to me. I'm working on the poker tonight and hope to finalize it.
