Isn't T2 Enhancement Pack something like that? It was mentioned in this thread...

Yes, and as a matter of note, the EP appears to have prevented NV from completing one of the water contest missions (What Lies Below).

In addition to NV's enhancements I also released some objs, they can be found somewhere in this thread.
I'm working on more too, I have finished...(hoping to upload soon)
tgaslite
mines and flashbom
bones
plates
What we need is a list of items done, or not done for us to easily refernce

ok, but i think you didn't understand.. with "revised pack" i mean ALL the revised objects but more important: not for the autors of mission but for the players..! if the enanchement pack is something like that i don't understand why is not mentioned enough and in the right way in the fan missions forum.
sterlino on 10/10/2006 at 11:33
or.. better idea : to create a revised pack that replace the old thief2\res\obj.zip named , just so, obj.zip

Because it still can cause display errors (e.g. wrongly textured objects and reskinned objects not showing up), as Yandros just mentioned.
Yandros on 10/10/2006 at 11:43
Not just display errors, it actually may be the reason why NV can't complete the mission. He keeps getting killed during the cutscene because he falls to the ground instead of being suspended in midair (surrounded by doors which may be getting replaced by models in the EP).
I'm not saying we should never release the EP to players, only that we need to be really aware that it means every mission from now on should be tested by players both with and without the EP. Of course I'm not naive enough to think that will actually happen (since we still have missions being released that aren't tested at all).

ok i said my words, i don't wanna to insist anymore. there are more wise men than me in this forum, if there will be a better solution i trust they will find that ... (hope soon)

I find it unlikely that the EP was the causing my problems in
What Lies Beneath, since doors should have their physics models defined at design time, not based on the size of the objects. I guess I should try it without it installed to see if it makes any difference, but I doubt it.
The (
http://www.thiefmissions.com/models/EPBeta1.zip) beta version of the Enhancement Pack
is available for general use, and I'd rather assumed that people were using it.
The beta version is as easily usable by players as by authors - simply extract all the files to the Thief 2 folder and you're good to go.
I personally have had it installed since I created it, and have no intention of uninstalling it for any reason.
As for testing with and without the EP; maybe I'm just being egotistical, but I had assumed that most people would be using it by now, and so in any group of testers there would certainly be at least one who had it?
IIRC there's a bug with one of the doors in that package - it turns up without a texture. I'd should check which file had the problem and upload a fixed version. Off the top of my head, I think it was something like vicdm0802.bin.
Unfortunately, I've lost all the source files for the EP, so it's unlikely that I will be making any more updated or complete versions in the future.
