I'm not sure what I've done, but I cannot go anywhere near Imperial guardsmen or they instantly attack. I don't have a bounty on my head, nor does any other faction instanly attack me. Anyone have any ideas what it was to turn them against me or what I can do to make ammends with them? I've tried to turn my self in, but it doesnt' work. I've allowed myself to be captured and returned to one of the Imperial forts and let go, only to be attacked again. This is making it very difficult to go into towns like Ald'Rhun, Fort Moonmoth (sp?) and Caldera. I'm level 20 but haven't really even made it that far in the main quest.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Yes it's rather horrible when that happens. Once the Ordinators started trying to kill me for nothing. All I did was wipe out everyone in the Ministry of Truth and wear Ordinator armour on several occassions in front of the guards.

Hlaalu guards went after me. I can't even remember what it was I did.
Usually guards chase you on sight when you've earned yourself a death warrant. I think that's when your bounty reaches 10k (or 5k? Not sure.)
Really it's just a nuisance. But sometimes it's fun to blow off some steam and they're so readily available, and attacking you.

A good way to level up isn't it?
Note to Ryushi: The little battle between Exile and I is over.

Someone in another forum suggested making a constant effect amulet of Sanctuary and wearing it in towns where your death warrent is in effect. Other than that I've not found any way to "remove" the instant attacks. I'm pretty sure this occured to me after wiping out the Comona Tong in Balmora (kill the 5 people in the council club). I'm pretty sure my bounty was in the 5,000-6,000 range before the dude in Ft. Moonmoth took care of it for me.
