yo!
just finished it two ways :)
All in all: great game, great story, great levels, great suspense, great features, great everything.
Only one thing disappointed me: the ends themselves.
Is it me or aren't there any rendered video sequences for intermissions in games anymore? With this rich storyline I'd have expected a decent movie :/
(On a short thought, the best lines of game movies for me are 'All that's left is to go home, get my money - and sleep for the next two years' and 'nah' ;) )

Same here, though I'd have settled for a really long engine-made sequence. I get why using the engine during the game is preferable, it doesn't distract from the game flow, but at the end, you can't really distract much more than that. :p
I wonder which of the endings the DE2 team will continue from...

have any thoughts occured that DX2 will be a prequel where you possibly play your brother? Or: what about the other clones?
But don't mention my thoughts too much now, I still have to read the whole forum to be informed ;)

Nah. Go to (
http://www.deusex-machina.com/) and read some of the linked-to articles on DE2. It's happening after DE1 and characters like JC, Paul and Tong are still alive and kicking.
...and I've yet to see Paul survive my game. Blast it all to hell!

Have they decided that Paul'll be alive in DX2? Last I heard it was undecided...
Really tough to decide too, since saving him is your decision, and a very important one (he's your brother for god's sake).
Was there any confirmation?

Firefreak, DX2 is set 15 years after the events of DX, and you play as Alex Denton.

And Alex can be a man or a woman, up to the player...

15 years later, huh.
somehow i think weapons will have evolved a LOT in those 15 years.
