Hi, i've been looking for this very watery and spooky piece of music for years.
I don't know the name of it, but i think it may have been in fantasia or even swan lake, its pretty popular.
Its usually used on t.v. when something ghostly is going on.
Got any ideas?
Thanks

that's quite a broad range there, but hey. I don't suppose it's the Sorceror's Apprentice by Dukas? That's probably the most famous sequence in Fantasia.
Otherwise, spooky-popular? I dunno, Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens?

I forgot to mention its BIG on harps and strings.
Wasn't any of them but thanks for trying though fingernail, its alot creepier and ethereal.
Well it kind of starts ethereal then falls apart a little, not too much percussion.
Its actually a really pretty, delicate piece of music, i just find it creepy

Sorry i cant be more specific, not even sure its in fantasia, but it is very popular .
Think ghostly, sad music

Has it been in any adverts? You can find quite a few sites listing music used in those.

Probably, but years ago matthew, its always in uk documentaries.
God this is so frustrating, every time they show some misty lake this thing is playing.
Its almost like the "stock" ethereal spooky piece.
Not that one fragony, too ......"percussive" (hey i'm getting the hang of this :p ), thanks though
