Do you taffers know where I might find the most accurate loot numbers per TDS OM? There are several loot walkthroughs and special loot lists, but I just need one that's correct in it's totals, 'cause I have no way of checking for accuracy myself. I'm looking for loot totals per Days and all Days combined, for each map. Thanks!
This is for comparative studies as well as the Encyclopedia database, among other uses.

The official game guide doesn't have anything like it. I can try to copypaste T3Ed's list of total loot, together with the max loot values in the scripts for every mission. Strictly speaking, the fact that loot is in the map doesn't mean it's accessible in the game. The City sections are even worse since a lot of loot is either left in or taken out by scripts based on the day and probably also randomly. That would be a Sisyphean labour.

Yeah, thanks. It's a lot harder to pin down something in some missions without an easy way to check for randomization or difficulty parameters per object type. If that's the best available list you know of, Beleg, it'll save me some trouble. I'll check it out. If nothing's amiss I can build from it.

Since I won't be able to access T3Ed until next Monday evening, try opening a TDS map in T3Ed and look for a "show loot"/"dump loot list" thingy somewhere within the right menu buttons. Maybe it's in the "report interesting items in this map" section.

I'll have a looksee, thanks. It'll be nice in the free-roam City sections if the walking loot-bearing AIs aren't counted into the totals, which I expect is the case.
EDIT: Hmmm... not finding it, though it sounds familiar enough.

Maybe my notes from my work on 'The Tricksters Loot Locator' may help a bit.
I do no longer have the TDS Editor installed, so I can't check.
Quote:
Exporting loot:
Select Tools\Report Interesting Items in this Map
Do NOT choose 'Dump Loot List' (Loot on AI missing here)
Instead choose 'Show me a list of loot' and copy to editor
OR !?
FOREACHINMAPLIST DISPLAYLOOTLIST loot_$MAPNAME$.txt
I do not recall everything, since these notes are 2 years old.
And I am not sure if the statement 'Loot on AI missing' is actually correct - or if that is referring to the random spawning loot.
The last line seems to be the most interesting one, but I do not recall how to execute that commandline.

I'll let you know! Thanks! I swear I must be blind, having clicked on Tools several times. I know I've seen that menu item before, long ago, it feels like. I'd downloaded your loot locator back then, but I've just not had the chance to get started in earnest.

My Loot Locator tool does not support TDS, because
- each 'Load zone' within a map would have required it's own lootmap
- and most important: there is basicly virtually no FM around which would ship the required *.unr files, so that one can open the missions in the TDS editor
So I never integrated support for TDS, since I found it would not be worth the effort.
And I am not even sure if those loot-lists actually would contain info about any difficulty-settings.

Yeah. I remember that now.
