I know this is old but it's still good advice: don't quit your day job.

I'm on SSI now. Bipolar and OCD. YES, I DID wait until they were kicking me in the ass and I was on the verge of suicide.

Just go out and get a job man, any job. You will feel so much better about yourself. The unemployment rate in Denver is extremely low right now, 2.4%. You should be able to get a decent job even if you aren't that qualified, most companies are dying for people. It doesn't matter that it won't be your ideal job or career, at least you'll be productive and making money at the same time. It's really that simple.

I'm on SSI. I might have to get a job but I'm going to try to make it on SSI. I wouldn't be surprised if next year my Social Security checks were slashed in half because of Donald Diarrhea Trump. Some people might recognize me at coffee shops and I could get a part time job there.
The thing is, you're wrong. Jobs and money are not we we really want. This is the bullshit that's been ingrained in our heads by our culture. We want to cooperate, share, create stuff, and expand our knowledge. I feel a lot better about myself having been accepted for SSI and I will avoid getting a job unless I have to. All you guys have become addicted to your jobs. It's sad.
Being productive... don't even get me started.
