Hey all,
I haven't browsed the forums yet, so I don't know who is still here that I know, but I wanted to say that I am off of my hiatus and back to building. I decided to build something in T3 before completing my Lord Maguire 2 (which has become so large that I feel I need a team of people to complete it - gah :eww: ). So, I am hard at work designing an ocean side mish, wish me luck!

Good luck, it shouldn't be so hard if you use meshes wisely ;)

Who me? No worries! :ebil:

Hey, do you have any ideas as to what you might build in T3Ed?
Welcome back,
SS

Welcome back.
Well, if I would not need sleep and had 40h days, I'd had a couple of FMs out by now I guess. :p Story etc. ideas are 5% of the building process I fear. :erg:

Yeah, I do, shadowsneaker, and thanks. I'm working from home right now and have free time. The urge for an editing fix came two days ago, so I started preparing. I have a storyline, and concept art already. It is not going to be big, especially since this will be my first T3 mish. I finished most of Komag's tut (wonderful tut that it is!) in about six or eight hours yesterday, so that gave me a good reference on the amount of time it will take. It is a seaside mission involving a tavern, an inn, and some other sights. It will be quaint, think Lovely Night but bigger with a bit of city and of course the ocean, which from my understanding is death water. How sad that water is not like it is in T2. After that, I think I will be ready to go to Dromed (although t3ed is so much simpler, sigh) and work on that danged Mag2 mish I've been beating to death for the past however many years. :laff:
Mag2 update for those who may still be wondering :joke: . The main buildings are all created, and objects are mostly in place (besides loot and books). The largest amount of work, it feels, is the little details......:bored: Running off to do a bit more research before I get my hands dirty. Tata!

Awesome. thanks! I'm staying away from garrettloader atm due to complications with my fms last time i attempted its use. Is garrettloader still problematic? As such, no access to T3 fms right now, unless someone cooked up something better than gl while i was gone..

GarrettLoader was being revised just recently. I don't know the status of it at the moment, but problems were being addressed.
Welcome back!

:wot: Six or eight hours...? Well, you must have nothing to do and no bad feelings when sitting on a PC all day long, have you? Three or four hours of T3Ed make my eyes worse than they already are and I've even started to go for a walk in the fields after T3Edding to get my eyes accustomed to larger distances again. :(
GL is being re-worked at the moment, as jtr7 said, some of us have a beta version of it and it runs without a glitch at least for TDS. For TDP/TMA there are still some bugs, but since potterr is back anything of this should be taken care of. If you PM him he might even send you a new version. By the way, GL even preserves custom settings/binds now instead of backing them up along with the savegames.
