There are two options here- a. he means what he sais. There are folks like that. Not psycopaths but not that much far from it (ye, you are beyond "weird", lad). No amount of love and patience will transfer Manson into a friendly, caring little hippie.
b. he doesnt really mean it.
Either way someone should kill him.

You are confusing psycopaths with psychotics- the latter, while in the psychotic state, cant tell the difference between right and wrong.
Psycopaths are usualy intelligent ppl who knows perfectly well what is right and what is wrong. What they do lack is the ability to empathize. In that sense it doesnt sound like he's far from them.

Sociopath-
a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.
Psychopath-
A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse.
It would seem that psychopaths act out aggressively, whereas sociopaths are more contained in their own head. I think this guy is a sociopath.
