I've downloaded the Illumination Within mod, which looks very cool, but according to the docs that come with it, the "Within" version includes shutters that will have a 2-6 FPS impact on the game. On one hand, that's not much, but on the other hand, I'm a bit borderline as it is. Has anyone tried this mod, either version, and noticed a significant FPS hit? I'm thinking of going with the "Without" version to keep my performance up (such as it is), but I don't want to lose the visual quality if it's really not going to make a noticeable difference.

I didn't notice any difference. And if I recall, the shutters only appear when the lights turn on at night. Just try them both. It won't nuke your game or anything if you switch them around.
