(
http://wwtdd.com/index.php?type=box&p=potc2.shtml) Pirates of the Carribean 2 (I guess): Dead Man's Chest
There's a localised pic of a girl with her ass spread for the camera on the right sidebar of this page, which will be different for each of you I suppose, but it's a catchy thread title. Or something.
Yeah, so... I was pleasantly surprised by PotC first time around and it's a fun film, definitely rewatchable. Better than a lot of novel and game adaptations, which says something. I didn't think Depp deserved an Oscar nod for this (in particular), but he does a fantastic turn.
Hm. Not too sure if this is going to be like Temple of Doom to Indy's Raiders though, lots of jaw-dropping setpieces and little cohesion in terms of plot.

Saw this trailer the other day. The Indiana Jones look is great... jungles and cannibals and beaches YO HO!
Plus Bill Nighy as <s>Captain Cthulhu</s> Davey Jones is pretty goddamned rawk. It's really difficult to tell from the trailer, but it looks like this one is going to be a lot more... erm... actiony in the Zorro way. Which is great.
Of course, also there's the dreaded spectre of "Second of Three" -- hopefully it'll be more Empire Strikes Back than Temple of Doom, though.
Regardless, they're getting my (insert grossly overinflated ticket price here) when it hits the screens.

I LOVE PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN!!!!
Alright then... Seriously this was the suprise hit of that summer. My buddy told me about it as "my favourite thing right now" and after my first viewing I could see why. Just really captures the inner child, which you know, is very near and dear to me since I'm still a child in any rational sense of the word.
Fuck yeah they're getting my (I think it's like 11 bucks these days) when it comes out. Day of, might see it twice if it lives up to the original.
Oh, and another thing, Edmonton is nowhere near me. Those girls are entirely out of my reach! Poor marketing there. At least the other site I've seen this on got the Island right, which was pretty impressive in a "oh god spyware catches up to me" sort of way

Johnny Depp and Kierra Knightly pretty much get my green regardless of the movie. It could be called '75 minutes of Jerry Bruckheimer's Leftover Pirate Shit' - and I would pay to see it. Day of.

"That has to be the best pirate I've ever seen" says it. Of course I'll watch it. I am captain Jack. With a thin verneer of 21st century aren't we all?

It looks interesting from what I can see, which isn't much because streaming media doesn't work very well for me...

Mmm, I'm really quite looking forwards to this. Hopefully it will be as fabulously entertaining as the first one - I actually dragged myself down to the cinema to see the first film, and as someone who goes maybe once or twice a year that's saying something.
Incidently, my trailer was accompanied by some awesome cleavage which sadly was in New York.

Nothing blew up in the trailer. Are you sure this is Jerry Bruckheimer?

i enjoyed the first film for the popcorn ride that it was - this one looks no different.
plus they've made the third one while they've been shooting the second; so that means theres going to be a running plot through them...which is good.
oh, and i dont normally like Jonny Depp both as an actor and a human; but dammit his Capt. Jack Sprarrow was some awesome skills.
