The point being made by driver was that if you persist in such a confrontational argument with those in charge, don't expect to win.
Also, if you have to use the ignore list, it suggests that the person on it has got to you.

I wasnt arguing with anyone, nor did I seek to-but I will not tolerate ugly and unjustified remarks being made about me personally, nor will I tolerate attempts at intimidation. I havent attacked those in charge, in fact I thanked David for his answer on the technical issue. And GBM was jesting in good humor.
As for 'getting' to me, no one has-but I've seen a few annoying things I'd rather not see, there's nothing wrong with using the tools which have been given to members to screen them out. Perhaps it's time for the thread to be closed.

I dont seem to have any problems in the Editing forums with the authors there or anywhere else, only the CommChat brigade seems to be taking offense (no suprise). Guess I know where not to go.
