if you have a modern Nvida GPU get the Nvidia App beta and try RTX HDR in Thief - by Svperstar

You need the latest drivers for the best results. The Black Parade looks amazing. Bright lights/windows look like HDR was built into the game. I'm shocked how good it looks.

Hey, paste some screens so we could all be flabbergasted!

I tried it based on this thread. Wasn't impressed at all. Will probably uninstall it. Black Parade looked night-and-day better for me 'without' RTX HDR.
Without RTX HDR, I had beautiful dark black shadows (literally no light in them due to OLED monitor) with nice details in them. I had previously used the Windows HDR Calibration tool to make lights have a nice vibrant brightness without ruining the rest of the graphics. Colors were rich.
With RTX HDR, though, black shadows were impossible to achieve. Lost a bunch of detail in them and the rest of the screen if I tried to make the monitor's blacks actually be dark black (ie., no luminance). Adjusting Contrast and Grey Nits, etc. in the RTX HDR panel (ALT+Z) yielded no good results. Only way I could get details in the shadows was to mess with the grey nits and contrast, but in doing so that made them muddy, grey, and ugly looking when shadows were lifted enough to see details... and with that, the rest of the screen's blacks were also made to look like that silly washed out luminescent gray effect that most or all LCD monitors get by nature of the LCD monitor tech (even though I have infinite blacks OLED monitor), while also washing out the colors. No good for me.
Sorry no screenshots... too tired. Maybe will do some other day
I might try tinkering with the settings again some other day, as maybe there's a conflict with the new RTX HDR / Vibrance settings and how I calibrated things before with in-game brightness/gamma and old nVidia Control Panel settings. But I'm afraid to tinker too much because I had everything pretty much perfect before this. Hopefully I can get things easily reverted to the way I had it if I can't get this to work.
