who would ya be? i mean like if you wanted to switch to someone in the game, say Umbra or Vivec. I'd want to be Gentleman Jim Stacy, he's just so suave and cool....except i'd move my sleeping quarters. who wants to live in back of a bookstore? then every night i'd sneak out, and with my superb thieving skills i'd steal some skooma and flin and mazte and every thing from Vivec (probably just the foreign quarter, i lazy) and then go meet my buddy caius and drink until i wind up in jail, where i'd pick the lock and start the cycle over. wheeeeeeeee

Depends on what time in the game you're asking.

If it's right after you've gotten off the boat, when you're still a Level 1 know-nothing, then I'd have to say Cunius Pelelius from the Caldera Mining Company or Canctunian Ponius of the East Empire Company - they seem like they have pretty sweet gigs. Plus, I'll never know what it's like to be in their position, cause I can't join their little clubs (Bloodmoon excepted, but you'll never get to the level of Ponius). So there's still the envy of the Unknown. Someone like Gentleman Jim or Saroyni? I can find out what it's like to be them, as I rise to the top of their respective factions. So there's no more mystery, nothing for me to long for. Maybe I'd like to be Vivec, cause, aside from the "immortal ennui" thing, he seems to have it pretty good.

But, someone like Umbra? Please. Who'd want to be that miserable?

Now, if you're asking AFTER your character has become a Level 77 badass, with 100% in every skill and attribute, after you've become the head of the Thieves, Mages, Fighters, Morag Tong, Temple, Cult, Legion, are the head of a Great House, have become the Neravarine, defeated the baddest guy in the land, have every single legendary item that anyone's ever dreamed of, and have more money than you could possibly spend in 2 lifetimes, well... everyone on the island wants to be YOU.

So, yeah - it depends on when you're asking. :)

OK, I'm very happy to report that Vivec kicked Umbra's ass with the greatest of ease. I timed them at about nine seconds before Umbra went down. Go Vivec! :cheeky:
