If this is it, please let me know... ***UPDATE 2.0*** - by fett

Like Potato Guy said, it's always a good idea to actually read an entire thread, or at least the very first before jumping into the gabfest. :)
I nearly missed the UPDATE, that brought relief to us all, and hopefully, in a not minor way, to fett and family.
Thanks fett, for the update in the opening and for the more detailed one just above. Glad you are still here, glad that treatment may add some years more to our enjoyment of your company.
Best wishes for the future.

Thanks, Dusty - also, so sorry to hear about your wife. You must really be going through it right now. I remember the parents on Family Ties back in the day when they thought Steven was fatally ill. He said to his wife, "I always figured we'd just hold hands and say, 'one, two, three, DIE!'" If only it would work that way, eh?
Tocky on 9/3/2010 at 02:53
What!? The doc said your heart is too big? Slap that man and get him to tell you something we don't know. It's not great news but better than it could have been. It's better than waking up in prison with your throat hurting.
Maybe you should take a handfull of those calmy downy pills before you check out Boston real estate eh?

I have a few hundred VICODAN left over from an earlier problem. Just give me a Snail mail address and I'll express them to you.
Then you can take Tocky's advice and just cool it for as long as the pills hold out. :ebil:

Sorry about your wife, tBm. :(
Glad to hear you're okay, fett! Or at least that you're not dying quite yet. Stinks that you're going to have to go through so much crap to get everything you need, but I'm sure it'll work out. :)

Whoa whoa whoa! How are we missing this?
tBM - I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. :( I don't know how you do it man, still posting in here and getting on with things. More power to you.

Dusty: I am floored. I can't begin to imagine your pain. I have been with Melissa for 6 years. If she left me, I would cease to function. She is my best friend, my eveything. I'm so sorry.
Glad things didn't go south for you. This shit is tough. I was in the James Cancer Hostpital @ Ohio State University a couple weeks ago.
I have a LOT of cancer in my family, and they get it YOUNG. My uncle died @ 34 from colon cancer, my grandma @ 49 of bone cancer, they suspected a grapefruit-sized tumor in my father's brain (he was killed at 27, so he was young as hell when things started). Anyway, I had my first colonoscopy @ 30 and they found some benign polyps. I recently had 'concerns' that something wasn't right in the old booty, and scheduled an appt. Went in, and all was right (da' hemmorrhoids), but MAN was it stressful waiting to find out WTF. I feel for you.
And btw:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, Dusty. I can't imagine how it must be for you right now. You have our support if you need it.
In the interim, it's stupid that I didn't read that first post again. Thanks for the update, fett. Fantastic to see you back! Keep on rocking.
