Ice World... puzzles?!?

Hey guys,

I know it's bad to cheat like this... but... I've gotten about 3/4ths of the way through the game, and remember that this part in particular was one of the hardest. Since I DID figure it out on my own many years ago, I figured it wouldn't hurt to cheat this time (now that I'm playing it to beat it).

So...

In the Ice World, after you kill that frozen Ice Golem. He tells you about two guys who built the machines and explained how to use them. I found that little scrap of paper that was all trashed (looked like an old build sheet from a 2nd gen F-body that you find after you drop the fuel tank). Can someone tell me what "arrangements" of the buttons (Chain, button, switch, knob, etc) I need to have them in, in order to get that key and that other stuff? I seem to remember that there were monsters back there as well??

This really requires some patience and trial and error. I would suggest putting some garbage/unwanted items along the changing maze paths if you still feel like working it out on your own. If you get a little bit sick of that, try the following:
[spoiler]Key: Chain, switch, lever all up, pushbutton light
(flip switch & push button to achieve this)
Door: Chain still up, Switch & lever down, button
dark (flip lever & switch down, and push button)[/spoiler]

I had to look that up for you from a walkthrough, as I didn't know it off the top of my head.
