This has happened to me a couple of times before: I get logged out of the Thief forums :nono:
I really don't know what's happening here?............. But now it's happening again?! Every day I MUST log in again (I know the passwordnumber by heart right now).
Of course I can log in every time, but it gives me this feeling of: Nót belonging here ..... nót being one of you Taffers. Thát's the most frustrating part of it!:(
Does anyone know what's happening here?

Your login is stored in a cookie, so maybe you accidentally turned off cookies in your browser settings?

There is also a "Remember Me" box next to the sign in. You may have to click that again if your cookie was deleted. :)

Like Gloria I too face this issue from time to time. I too have to enter both my nick and my code and of course I remember the "Remember Me" box.
Funny thing is that my pc at work do not have this "problem". I have only entered my code once and that was more than 2 years ago.
But at home it's another matter.

The reason this is happening will be entirely due to your browser cookie settings. You may have set cookies to expire after a fixed amount of time (for instance a day or two), or as soon as you close your browser, in which case the website quickly 'forgets' you ever logged in or ever ticked 'Remember me'. Or, you may have set your browser to reject all cookies, or cookies that aren't from a particular set of whitelisted sites, in which case the website will never be able to remember your settings in the first place.
Since the settings that control cookies are in different places depending on your browser, see your browser's documentation for details on how to set up cookies appropriately. In almost all cases the default browser settings will work fine.

If you have recently installed a new Firewall program (like Zone Alarm), you may have ticked clean cookies, or cookie control. This can be switched off.

Have had similar problem. In my case it was corrupt/conflicting/multiple cookies for ttlg. Delete all ttlg related cookies.

This is a very weird place. Many stranger things than this are happening here. :sly:
