Only way to give an item to someone is to go into the editor and turn on barter for that npc. If your worried about the wierdness of having a slave with 500k, you can just set barter gold to 0, in game, sell the slave the weapon/armor, but reduce the sell price to 0.
Of course I wouldn't waste my time holding down the mouse button for so long, so if you want to save time, you could use the console and type in ->additem "exquisite_skirt_01" 1...

yepp... the console seems to be the only way.
at least she now has a robe and some shoes on...
for weapons i first have to gather the weapons list
(btw: I'll have to raise the skills also, hm?)

Hmm...your sick...slavery is bad...real bad!

Not only that, there's very little money in it ;)
(Sure, you can ferry a couple slaves to slavers, but the reward is hardly worth the animosity it earns you from Twin Lamps members... especially if you're in Hlaalu)

I hate it that you can't type in the amount you want to sell somthing for. Sometimes when I'm selling something expensive I have to hold the button down for a few minutes, that sucks. I figure it's better to sell something under the cost price than to never sell it.
Can't they patch it, so you can type in a number, or if you hold down the right mouse button it goes faster.

How do you free the slaves? For some reason the only way I can get to their slave bracelet is by picking their pockets, and they don't like that. Any other way?
Forsythe on 14/8/2002 at 19:53
Some slaves (most notably, the ones in smuggles' caverns) can be freed by finding their bracers' key (usually on the local baddie or in a chest or lying out in the open). Others (such as the ones in the Sadrith Mora Gateway Inn) simply can't be freed unless you install a plugin that allows such.

What do you do, get the key then spacebar them, and there'll be an option to free them? Or do you like slap it on them and it frees them, then you have to re-equip the key? Thanks

Talk to 'em and tell 'em to "go free". If you have the key for them, you'll get extra options. (Oh, and after you free about 6-7 of 'em, ask about "go free" even after they've been freed)

Sorry for the stupid question(s), heh. Thanks! :cheeky:
