From what one hears, a fair number of strippers are girls trying to finance their university education. I'm sure that at least some of them could be called 'intellectual'.

An intellectual person earns intellectually. Being a student is not being an intellectual by default. That term still bugs me.

I would say intellectual is a function of cognitive capability and learning rather than how they earn their living.
Edit: by which I mean that it can relate to profession, but I see that as a subset of a larger grouping.

Intellectualism is earned, yes, but it must be demonstrated in order to be seen. Being involved in education is a very easy way to earn some people's respect and open their eyes to see that you just might be intelligent.
There is nothing wrong with stripping either. Just look at it like; all those girls stripping and whoring, and guys wasting money on grillz and rims, are just less people in our way to success! And something to laugh at!:joke:
