I'm sure he was just being "jovial" or something. In his bitter way.

Perhaps, but if it were anyone but you, the most opinionated loudmouth around here, I'd ignore it.
Ladies, ladies - You can both marry me. :)

IT'S NOT A TUMOR

Age isn't always a factor if your eyesight failing. I spend 9 hours a day on the pc and started getting the worst headaches from eye strain. Now I wear glasses when on the pc and I don't get headaches anymore.
I suppose a childhood spent reading by torchlight at night wasn't helpful either though.
Get it checked out if it is bothering you.

I smell burnt feathers. Can you smell them?
Sorry, but if you expect any "serious" help from an internet forum, you'll need to provide better description than "a headache"/"loosing my sight".

Years ago I went through a somewhat similar problem, raging headaches that would last for weeks or months at a time. They'd plagued me for years, but grew progressively worse, to the point where I was almost unable to function because of them. I finally cracked and went to a doctor, who referred me to another doctor, who referred me to another doctor, and after a good bit of pissfarting around and a couple stabs at various prescription medications, my good ol' family GP very casually asked me one day, "You ever been to get your eyes checked out?"
Soon after that, I'm sporting a shiny new pair of glasses, my headaches are gone, and god dammit, I have a whole new appreciation for something as simple and taken-for-granted as the absence of pain. The moral of the story? Two parts: one, doctors are fucking idiots, and two, go see one anyway.

Nothing beats a good GP. Preferably one with a black sense of humor. LOLdamn that was cold Sub E.

Okay, slight turn in the conversational direction here for a moment, but is SubE really a doctor?
