Headaches, pressure behind the eye, summer....all this could point to a bad case of sinusitis or a sinus infection resulting from allergies or maybe you had a cold that never really cleared up. Allergies are weird and you can development them later in life. Mine started well into my 20's. Try taking a decongestant. If it persists then you should go get this checked out.

GO TO THE DOCTOR.
Whatever the cause, you're likely to find the way to deal with it or stop it.
...now go eat a couple of Snickerdoodles and call the doctor.

OMG! What is with guys not wanting to go see a doctor when something's obviously malfunctioning?
Wife: Honey I think you should really go see a doctor
Man: Nah, it's fine
Wife: But your right foot is missing
Man: I'm sure it'll come back when it's ready.

Don't listen to these killjoys. The one thing you should definitely NOT do is go to a doctor.
You *should* bitch about it on more Internet boards. The more forums you post in the less severe your symptoms!

Could be a glaucoma, could be a microscopic worm parasite commonly found in cats' saliva, could be a retinal collapse, could be a cataract, could be a brain tumor.
Check with your doctor ASAP.
A prolongated headache is kind of worrying (a tumor?).

You do need to see a doctor, you might need to get an MRI scan too!:o

Too much faith in Doctors ITT. Bunch of cheap self servicing hacks and serial killers in my experience.
