Once again I am subjected to this peculiar and narcissistic April 1st tradition where people who are otherwise interesting and intelligent turn into douchebags. They lie to people and/or perform acts which cause varying levels of physical, emotional, economic, or social damage to others, and do so entirely for their own amusement.

I honestly didn't know people still participated in April fools stuff like this, not anyone I know anyway. Kinda went out with trick or treating.

No matter how hard you try to deny your faith, there is something outside, linking every single thing that has happened until now, impossible to describe, but is out there somewhere.
You can leave faith and have a full use of logic for many years but is not possible to explain certain chain of events and coincidences that happens in your life.

Accusing us of turning into douchebags implies that we were not douchebags in the first place.
Remember, I ruined a couple of friendships over WoW and laughed about it. I think that qualifies for douchey status, but then again they were douchebags too for making WoW such srs bsns in the first place.

It's worthwhile to have a periodic reminder to be vigilant, especially of those we think we know and especially on April 1st!

Turns out the fact that it is April 1st does not give you an excuse to walk into Starbucks, take off your trousers and whirl them around your head screaming that you are 'The Voice of the Flames' then claim "April Fools!" when they escort you from the premises.
