I know many of you will envy me for this... I finished UU1 with the walkthrough (I didn't have any game documentation, so I needed every piece of info I could get), but as I have the complete game docu for UU2 (by courtesy of a member of this board, I don't remember his name at the moment, but thanks a lot anyway, man!) this time I will try it all for myself (and perhaps ask you guys if I'm stuck). I have to admit that I always play at "easy" level, I'm more an adventure gamer than a die-hard RPG freak.

If you get stuck, post here. Youll definetly find it alot more enjoyable that way, rather than going through with a walkthrough. I prefered UW2 overall and I got through the game without a walkthrough (although I definetely got stuck quite a few times). That game lasted me for ages. Have fun.

WARNING - The following contains some minor spoilers.
Progress report:
I'm making some progress, until now without any help: cleared the Prison Tower (well, actually someone else did the dirty work...) and freed all of the prisoners, got the gem from Killorn Keep, killed the Listener imp in the castle, explored most of the Ice Caverns and got the gem, solved the maze puzzle.
Now I'm in the frozen city and didn't have time yet to figure out what to do there.
This game is really great, there are lots of different stories and worlds. I enjoy it even more than The Stygian Abyss.

I'm playing UU2 right now too. I'm a bit further, perhaps halfway through. UU2 just surpassed UU1 in my mind for my personal favorite CRPG of all time!
And oh lordy,
The Pits Of Carnage... Hack'n'Slash Heaven!

I think that UW2 succeeded in catering to all playing styles more than any game that I can think of. The sheer variety of environments and challenges alone lend weight to that.
