I accidentally killed alof (in the feilds of kammu) early on (I know your not supposed to kill anyone untill you complete the quests, so sue me) but for the fighters guild you have to talk to him about "orcs at a dedric ruin".
Does anyone know where the dedric ruin is that the orcs are at? it says nearby, and the closest one is just a little north over the hills. But I don't know if it is it.
I know that there are orcs at the dedric ruin near ohl had (sp?) but that is part of a different quest (for the imperial legion, I think). Theres also an orc at the dedric ruin near halamayan (sp?).
If you HAVE to talk to alof to pass this quest then I guess I'm screwed. But if anyone can tell me which dedric ruin the orcs are at I would appriciate it!

Alof tells you that the Orcs come from the Ashunartes, a Daedric ruin North East of here. He says that if you kill their leader, Burub gra-Bamog, the rest of the Orcs should leave the farmers in peace.
The shrine is indeed towards the North East of Alof's farm, just across the hills (though its a little more North than East).
Don't know if you have to talk to Alof or not, but you can try visiting the shrine and killing the orcs to find out.

Hrm... I never did this quest (it's a Balmora Fighters' Guild one, innit?) and still mastered the guild, if that's of any help.

I don't think it's a Balmora quest.. I don't recall having to go to the Fiellds of Kummu for any quest from the Fighter's Guild there..
Perhaps it's a Vivec quest, I didn't do many of those.

It is indeed a Balmora Fighter's Guild quest-you won't be offered it until you reach the rank of Protector, though.
Don't worry about having killed Alof already, Jello. You can still do the quest. Hearken to the words of Eydis Fire-Eye herself:
"Duke Vedam Dren himself gave us a contract to take care of the problem. Go to Alof's Farm northeast of Pelagiad.... What do you mean Alof is dead? What were you thinking, %PCRank? Well, the contract still needs to be filled. Apparently, our only source of information is dead, so you'll just have to search the area until you figure out which orcs to get rid of. Check for any ruins nearby; it'd be a good place for them to hide out."
Go get those orcs! :)
